Seen the Bloomberg Consumer Confidence Survey for Jan? I am sure you did but just in case.Will be interesting to see the actual numbers from the Conference Board,do you know when it will be out? Ooops,I think I found it, 10 am today?

BTW this is my #10,000 post on SI since 1996,damn I spend too much time on SI.

U.S. Consumer Confidence Seen at 5-Month High in January: Bloomberg Survey

Washington, Jan. 26 (Bloomberg) -- U.S. consumer optimism
probably rose in January to its highest level in five months as
the economy barreled into the new year and the stock market
gained, analysts said in advance of a report set for release
today.

The Conference Board's consumer confidence index probably
rose to 126.6 in January from 126.1 in December, according to the
average of 27 forecasts in a Bloomberg News survey.

Americans ''have good reason to remain optimistic going
forward, given the prospects for job growth, wage growth, and the
stock market, '' wrote Michael Englund, chief economist at
Standard & Poor's MMS in Belmont, California, in a report......
