Thanks for posting. I still fail to understand, though, what the point of creating massive inflation would be. That road leads to even more misery, even if a different sort.
It seems to me that we have allowed economic prosperity to become an end in itself, rather than a means to a "good life", eudaemonia, as Aristotle would have put it. We have totally lost any perspective on a social meaning for that notion, and until we can somehow retrieve it, we will have problems. One day, perhaps I'll be able to explain that more fully.
