Paul, I too use E*Trade. Most (if not all) of the IPOs they participate in are Robby Stephens deals (lead or co-lead underwriter). The lead on this one is Lehman I think, but if E*Trade does participate I wouldn't expect to hear from them until it is about to be priced. On Marketwatch.com, I got a message late morning or so telling me to check the "IPO Center" after a certain time that evening. You couldn't even pull up the prospectus, much less put in for shares, until that time. Then, when they finally let everyone at it that night, if you actually took the time to try to download the prospectus you got shut out - they stopped taking indications of interest. Next time, I'll read the prospectus on FreeEdgar and go straight to the order page.

BTW, you should also be able to tell from the preliminary prospectus who, besides Lehman, are the lead underwriters.

Regards,
Bob

PS: Amend that - just checked E*Trade's IPO Center. Seems they put two IPOs on the current offerings page yesterday that aren't supposed to be priced until next week. They closed the window on both last night, BTW. I got no message this time like I did on Marketwatch. Guess I just have to get into the habit of checking the IPO Center frequently. Good luck.
