Not to my knowledge... NIKE, Hitachi, MTIC, SUN, Box Hill all use (I believe) ethernet or fast-wide ethernet.

Please understand, I am not bashing MTIC (hope we all make a mint) but in the technology sector you either deliver what the customer needs (and fast) or they will go to your competitors.
