All,

Can We Talk?...

The thought occurred to me tonight that there are many of us here who are currently faced with the same BIG problem. Mind you, this is one GREAT problem to have, but none the less, requires logical and creative ideas, leading to pragmatic solutions. As many of us "Long Term INTEL Investors" realize tonight, we have made a lot of money recently. Therefore, our problem today is, how do we protect those profits from possible erosion?

On this thread we have a lot of very intelligent minds. Minds I believe, that can collectively and working together, come up some pretty good solutions. As you know, I along with Jack R, have posted that we have been buying IBM Puts. In fact, I bought more today and I intend to continue buying IBM Puts unless we can come up with better solutions. Sometime in the future I will post my reasons for why I believe IBM's stock price is vulnerable, and why I think the IBM Puts are a good solution. However before I do that, I would like to hear the opinions of other's here first. As I write this, I am mindful that the Market Makers are reading these posts, and that the premium for these Puts could possibly be effected by our discussions.

John Hull,

By copy of this post, I ask you, and Intel, to please participate in these discussions. I think all of us would like to know your opinions. What would you advice us as your shareholders, at this point in time. As you can see from recent posts, and in spite of the contrary advise of others, we have indeed, fallen in love with our Intel stock. We don't want to part with our INTC stock. We know that over the long range Intel is "One Great Company", but at the same time we want to protect our profits against those who might sell Intel because of "irrational behavior".
