Why hasn't GEMS forecasted earnings for fiscal 1999 positively affected the stock? Various analysts forecast GEMS earning up to .50 a share in 1999. This figure is almost double the earnings forecasted for '98, and considerably higher than many companies selling at a much higher per share price.
