<<Does anyone out there use Investorline for day trading and are they any good?>>

I do, by convenience/accident, but I'm looking elsewhere. They were better yesterday, server wise (web site fast) and for execution time (seems to be back in the 1-3 min they used to be) than the last three weeks which were just plain horrible. But again, looks like I was the only one trading yesterday.

The big problem with Investorline is that you must call after you send your order to place your stops. I don't mind much cause I'm on cable (Internet), but someone using the phone to be online would almost need a second phone line. Cancel are also by phone. Some brokers have all this integrated on their website.

They are fast by phone. A ring or two is usually all it takes. I have another broker, which I prefer not to name for fear of flaming, that can keep you on hold for 15 minutes before some kind of bad English/Cantonese translator (bad in English) try to take your order.

<<What other brokers are recommended for day trading?>>

I would like to answer a cynical "none", but I'll wait till I had tried a few.
