I understand that flash is cross platform. The point I was trying to make is that the Clik! hardware cost can be amortized over several different pc type appliances...than media cost becomes the more important IMO.

Also, let's say that I go out to 3 or 4 construction sites on a given day and shoot the equivalent of 3 or 4 "rolls of film" at each one. It is a lot easier for me to separate each project on a single disk dedicated to that project and "file it away" (I may never need it unless there is a problem). Flash would not give me the same capacity or convenience for the same $$$.

As for competing with Zip, I don't think that that is an issue if one looks forward because "small" is the future and usually the more desirable option now, whether it be flash or a Clik! type device.
