Wow, 3500 yen per sony cellphone battery sample! At 114 yen per dollar, that's $40! Valence should be producing and inventorying with their line 2 and possibly already shipping to their cellphone customers. JV partner Hanil's stated rate is 1 million batteries per month for a similar Arco line. Valence's energy density should be far greater than Sony's "10% above Li-ion". I have been estimating $2 per watt hour for a 6 watt-hour cellphone battery or $12 each. If Valence could get Sony's $40 each at 1 million per month, were are in very good shape!
