COSTA MESA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 26, 1999--GTC Telecom (OTCBB:GTCC) Tuesday announced that in an effort to inform the public, the company will host a conference call on Monday, Feb. 1st, 1999 at 1:15 p.m. Pacific Time.

GTC Telecom will explain all facets of its business and further clarify all recent business developments and company strategy. This will include a more detailed explanation of the recently announced online calling card e-commerce site that GTC Telecom feels mirrors other companies like Amazon.com (NASDAQ:AMZN), IMALL (NASDAQ:IMAL) and Skymall (NASDAQ:SKYM).

The company will also address how it is able to offer long distance phone rates at 5.9 cents per minute in selected states and how it is fiercely competitive with rates offered by AT&T (NYSE:T), Sprint (NYSE:FON), Excel Communications and Tel-Save (NYSE:TALK).
