Konrad, I would agree with Ibexx on this one. Several analysts have said the same thing and they "should" know. The key, as Ibexx stated was/is the rising dollar vs Yen and others. Small investors may be following in this upward movement, but I doubt they could mobilize in such a short time and in such a concentraited manner. The volumes alone (INTC) speak of big money investors, i.e. countries or very large funds, either domestic or foreign.

The Japanese have a well documented history of buying "trophies" and buying into a rising market. They rarely if ever have been know to buy low sell high. If anything the reverse is the case, especially in realestate.

All we can do is keep an eye on rates and the dollar, and hope the big money doesn't bail. I still believe Intels fundementals are very solid and if anything the stock is undervalued or at worst fairly valued but surely not fully valued.

It wasn't long ago we we're listening to others whine about why they should split the stock and how it would drive up the price because small investors "can't afford Intel" at $100+. Something about it looks cheaper, etc., or I'll make more if I have "twice" as many shares and other flawed logic and math.

Basically, we have two opposing theories, the little guys driving the rise or the stocks too expensive and it's really foreign or big money. I'd bet on the foreign money and yes the small investor is scared by high prices, not owning enough shares to make a difference (they think). I would argue, that you still make the same % gain no matter how much you have invested, since you only had X to invest in the first place.

Go Intel!
