I bought a Gateway G6-400 with 16MB Banshee video card on 12/14/98. I
had to replace the video card(by Ensoniq) after I got the computer
because the video image would shrink to a vertical line within a hour.
The second video card was working fine until last night. The same problem happened again. I was on the phone with Gateway people this
morning, the lady answered phone said it was my monitor caused the problem even I told her that my monitor(Hitachi Elite 751) was working fine. She got so angry and hung up the phone after she told me I can complain about that.

Are there any expert opinions? or MAYBE Ensoiq video cards are bad.
