Last years Academy award Winner for best actor, recipient of this years Golden globes lifetime achievement award, and thought by many around the world to be the coolest guy anywhere, is now driving the coolest car anywhere and having a hell of a good time doing it. Jack Nicholson is driving gen2 EV1 with NiMH.
Jack doesn't seem to have paid too much attention to how to maximize range with regen or any other of the cars gadgets and secrets.
With NiMH he doesn't feel he has to. He's getting all the range he needs for all his LA driving and continues to drive in his own style which tends to be a bit fast with quick starts. His only problem is to remember to push the charge paddle in. Don't know if he's been forgetting to charge himself but his staff is alerted to plug the paddle in if ever they see the car and no paddle in the slot.
Jack has wanted the EV1 for a long time but realized that with his lifestyle he would definitely need the advanced batteries.
Jack of course has gotten the EV smile and the thumbs up long before the EV1 came into his life but I can't think of a better recommendation to people of all ages than his having found what we all have known for quite a while. The EV1 is the way to go.
