Michael - RTEC customers replacing SUNW ?

Well first the easy part of your question: the Earning Release
of the last quarter should be announced on 07-FEB-1997.
This is next Friday, of course after trading hours - like always.
Well - let say, this is what planned currently by RTEC.
(IF they change the date, like they did in the LAST Quarter
in OCT-96, then we "might" have a problem ... and not a too small
one either ..."

The second question: RTEC customers intead of SUNW. Yes, THIS IS
the big pain - you need to get a a LOT of them to get generated the
previous multi-million dollar order flow by SUNW.
RTEC announced "an agressive plan for creating and activating new
and existing OEM Sales Channels". They seems to be still in the
process of doing this. Ones the new Sales Channels are implemented
they should replace SUNW plus increase and expand the current business by boosting new revenues.
This is what I am not clear about: how far are they succeding until now in the Sales Channel activity for gaining new (smaller) customers?
Also I think, there was initially a kind of "Strategical Partnership
between RTEC ans SUNW". As part of this allience SUNW became RTEC biggest single-one customer, having even a 5% investment.
But I did not see anything (until now or maybe I missed it), that RTEC and/or SUNW -officially- dropping the above mentioned "strategical partnership". The way how things look like, it's pretty obvious that such a partnership does not make any sense between RTEC and SUNW at this point of time.

Who are RTEC's customers now ? Let's hope they found to compensate
the SUNW orders. We will see ... latest on the 07-FEB-1997.

Regards,

Stefan H.
