Andrew,

"Dfa US 9-10 may have done it alone." Do you know what this means? The broker friend that I mentioned in my last post called the company on Friday and spoke to the Sales Mgr. What he heard, which was that the company is very busy and continuing to book new orders, caused him to put three other investors into this stock. If you watched the final 15 minutes of trading, 3500 shares purchased moved the bid up 1 7/8 pts. This stock is very thin and any buying at all is going to stimulate a strong move upward. Another indicator of how thin this stock is, is the 2-point spread between bid and offer.

This friend did not ask specifically which automotive company the new contract is with. He did tell me, however, that the person he spoke to mentioned that contract in passing but seemed much more excited about the number of different applications in which laminated and flexible circuitry is being used. There are only three companies in the business. Sheldahl is one of PRLX's competitors and I haven't yet found the name of the other. Orders are expected to continue strong into '97 and '98.

Regards,

Steve
