Ronald, After the sell-off Friday, WIND issued a statement to reassure that things are going well. They couldn't specify exact earnings because the books aren't closed for the quarter. If the company had not responded, people would be left to their own devices to come up with an explanation to fill the news void. People are inherently pattern seeking creatures. Faced with unexplained events, people will let their imaginations concoct an explanation to fill the void. As we have already seen, people's imaginations can really kick into overdrive, doing all kinds of outlandish curve-fitting to explain their "reality". Frank
