William, RE: Yahoo Puts

I'm curious about your thought process here. I know you have talked about a market correction which could be fairly severe in the net sector. But do you have anything of a more company-specific nature in mind? For example, I notice that outside of Yahoo's excellent finance area, there is alot of link rot, which is really inexcusable for a company with the resources of Yahoo since it would be so simple to write some code to check all of their links daily and eliminate the bad ones. I also notice that they are getting more and more emulation/competition from others e.g. newhoo, who may not yet have critical mass, but whose adoption of a more open source (read: unpaid volunteer staff) business model may prove to be lower cost while supplying arguably fresher goods.

Any of these competitive dynamics in your thinking or just TA stuff?
