No luck on McGwire's autograph. He's very protective of his signature. Going market price for a McGwire autographed ball these days is around $1,000.

Let's see. I got Bud Selig's autograph. Ted Sizemore (the guy who hit behind Brock when he stole 118 bases in 1974). The night before at the Mo. Sports Hall of Fame induction ceremony I picked up a Mike Shannon and a couple of Enos Slaughters. Last fall I nabbed Whitey Herzog and Red Schoendienst at a celebrity golf outing.

In this respect, life is definitely good.
