You are dumber than you sound. They SAY that it will take a long time (their argument for not wanting witnesses), but in fact, they are frightened to death of witnesses!! If it is so advantageous for the Dems to drag this thing out, as you theorize, then why aren't Clinton's attorneys making the same argument as you, i.e., "bring on the witnesses". The simple truth is that they are scared of Lewinsky's testimony, they are scared of what Bettie Curry might be forced to reveal, they are scared that Vernon Jordan's efforts to get Monica a job will be fleshed-out as an effort to shut her up!! How does it feel to have a bit of logic and common-sense slap you across your face?
