It sounds to me like iris scanning is the more reliable type anyway. The only company that I know of that's been in the news with the iris type is IriScan. Does anyone know if they are public. I can't seem to find info on them on any of the exchanges. I think they have a contract with NCR and bank machines. I'd like to hedge my bet a little and get in on the iris bit. Keep Mytec and hope for the best.
