One comment I would make after having talked to both Keyes Company(the realtor) and a representative of Madera today. Let's not make the mistake of thinking that the realtor would have any more inside information about total land ownership of WOOD or anything else exceeding what they have been retained by WOOD to do, that is, market a specific portion of their land. Ask yourself this. How many people bought this stock only based on a website announcement. The items for sale on the website are not affected by land ownership by Madera. Read the release, the CEO believes the sale funds the business plan. Why do I care how much land is sold, whether all is sold, etc. I just care how much capital it attracts. For those who are concerned about whether they retain any land holdings (re read the release..."Ramiro Fernandez-Moris, CEO of WOOD, stated that the company is now focused on growth and will convert A GOOD PORTION of the company owned timberland assets in Brazil into solid industrial growth by their subsequent sale." That is in keeping with what his daughter, Raquel, told me today. By the way if Raquel is any reflection on her father, he must be a very classy human being.
