They have(?) another property in Mexico called the Descubridora/Rod Properties. The ? is that as of Oct. they were in default on the option agreement but were trying to renegotiate the terms. That may be accomplished by now but I don't know for sure. These properties are approx. 98,000 acres 35 kilometers southwest of the Platosa. Five targets have been outlined, one of which is drill ready and the other four would require 2-3 months of additional work. The priority target, Batalla, has one reconaissance sample assayed at 0.9 g au, 6oo g. ag, 0.6% pb, 0.3% zinc, and 1.7% copper. Another sample assayed 4g au.,3,820 g ag., 14.9% pb, 5.02% copper and 1.5% zinc. A 1994 IP mag indicated a 600 meter long anomoly, starting 50-100 metres below surface, interpreted as a tabular sulfide-mineralized structure. Three of the remaining four targets require some field work but are well enough conceived that extensive field work should not be required. IMDEX/Cascabel carried out the reconnaissance program which included geochemistry, geological interpretation, mapping, and sampling(47 samples)... This information comes from the annual report so if it's not accurate don't blame me. |
