I think the story here is that AFFX patent position is adequate if not dominant, they are getting revenues up at an impressive rate (doubling each year, $100 MM est in 1999), and are on track to be profitable in the year 2000. AFFX is managing their mgf well, big pharma is becoming dependent on them, and other would be competitors cant seem to keep up.

Expect break out revenues on Feb 2nd....
