Zeus, Re: CRTC and PCS Licenses.

I have been a long time player and large stock holder of Clearnet. Your information seems to be very accurate, especially your message on Jan.25 (Reply #94).

Many investors have concerns regarding the CRTC rules related to PCS Licensing and how one company cannot hold dual PCS Licenses which operate within the same area. The big question is "How can Bell Mobility (which holds a PCS License for Ontario and Quebec only), purchase Clearnet (which holds a PCS License nationwide)without a lengthy CRTC approval process.
The answer is simple; The overlap of PCS Licenses occurs only in Ontario and Quebec. Once Bell Mobility secures the purchase of Clearnet, all it has to do is sell its PCS License for Ontario and Quebec to another company or just give it back to CRTC - a small price to pay for a national PCS License.

By the way are you from the Toronto area.
