A sleeper, AboveNet Communications (ABOV)

This stock reminds me of the forest where the tree falls, but no one is around to hear it. Gaining market share, and shares niche with Exodus Communication in infant industry.

EXDS higher revenue at this point... but both share same growth rates.

EXDS market cap $1.68 Billion
ABOV market cap $0.36 Billion (almost 1/5th of EXDS)

(Disclaimer: yes I own it)

AboveNet Expands East Coast Campus Into New
York; Offers European Customers Direct Access to the Internet

SAN JOSE, Calif, Jan. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- AboveNet Communications Inc. (Nasdaq: ABOV - news), a leading provider of
co-location and connectivity solutions for mission-critical Internet operations, today announced the extension of its East Coast
campus to include new network bandwidth, new personnel and facilities expansion along the northeast corridor running from
Washington, DC to New York. The New York facility will provide a direct Internet connection into the U.S., allowing
European clients to expand their global Internet presence quickly and cost-effectively.

East Coast Campus

AboveNet's New York facility will be located in the New York Business & Technology Building at 111 8th Avenue at the
crossroads of Chelsea and West Greenwich Village in Manhattan. This building -- New York's fifth largest -- is home to many
leading telecommunications companies and Internet Service Providers. Richard Mataka, an international telecommunications
expert, will manage the day-to-day operations of AboveNet's New York facility.

The two facilities in the East Coast campus are linked via a dark fiber connection provided by Metromedia Fiber Network. The
dark fiber allows AboveNet to scale their connectivity as needed.

''Today we are significantly expanding our reach and the diversity of our service offerings,'' said Warren J. Kaplan, President
and COO of AboveNet. ''Expanding the East Coast campus will enable European companies to take better advantage of the
Internet as a major commerce engine.''

AboveNet's direct connection extends the ISX between the U.S. and Europe and is made possible through an agreement with
Global Crossing Ltd., the leading independent provider of undersea fiber optic telecommunications systems. By working with
Global Crossing, AboveNet will ensure improved connectivity with its partners in Europe.

''A direct connection between the U.S. and Europe will mean a more efficient flow of network traffic and more available
bandwidth for higher-performance Internet applications,'' said David Rand, co-founder and CTO of AboveNet. ''This
demonstrates our commitment to help our clients offer the best-possible Internet experience to their customers.''

AboveNet offers a range of different connectivity solutions to European customers and has existing relationships with many
leading ISPs and content providers in the U.K., France and other European countries.

Customer Demand for Direct Access

AboveNet's expanded global reach gives Internet-centric companies the ability to offer 24x7 guaranteed service, bandwidth
and improved network performance. AboveNet has a growing international presence and relationships with leading Internet
companies in Europe and the Asia Pacific Rim (APR).

AboveNet recently added several international customers, including Demon Internet, the leading UK and Netherlands ISP.
They have selected AboveNet to provide transit services.

''Our agreement with AboveNet allows Demon Internet to further extend and diversify its Internet connections in the U.S. In
common with most ISPs, Demon is continuously expanding its connections to the rest of the Internet,'' said Chris Hall, director
of development for Demon Internet. ''We were pleased to find in AboveNet another quality source of transit.''
