News? Yes they blew away earnings estimates. And it's only going to get better when the internet speedmall gets going. BTW Grand opening Feb 1. Big short story finally revealed. Channel stuffing is the argument. The story goes that ACTN force feeds distributors with more stock than they can handle and counts the shipped items towards sales. I don't know how I could verify or dispute that and it certainly would be cause for concern. But I don't think it's a practice they could continue quarter after quarter. This stock has had a LOT of shorts for a long time, through several earnings reports. Each report is great and as time continues to go by and each quarter shows great earnings growth the likelyhood that all of this growth is just channel stuffing greatly dimishes. So the shorts sit on it waiting for the "house of cards to fall". Well they got squeezed a little today and if this stock catches internet stock fever it could be a real rocket ride. One little bit of trivia for you. The CEO of this outfit Fed Wagenhal is quite the entrapanuer (sic). He invented the electric bull back in the 70's. A brilliant minded CEO is one of the best things you can ever hope for in a stock and ACTN has one.
