Yes I am a Canadian. I usually go for the Canadian stocks because of the volitily of the Canadian dollar this year. (It also keeps bookkeeping easier) ;-). Also, there is a sense of patriotism in investing in my own country, but not enough to keep me from investing in US stocks if I like them enough.
I live in British Columbia, which as you know is a long way from Toronto. So I won't be attending that forum.
Are you attending the forum? If you are, fill all of us here in on the great stock picks that you get.
For any that are interested, my favourite pick right now is a company on the TSE called Pallet Pallet Inc. (They make pallets) ;-0
I like the company at only $.35 a share, and they has a 20 million line of credit from a major bank. Last year they overextended themselves with purchases, and this year they are turning themselves around by restructing. I expect a return to profitability in 1997.

Mr "Stockman"

P.S. Some of you on the forum may be wondering about the " and " marks around Stockman. I am not Leroy Stockman, I'm just an investor that wanted a cool 'net alais. It's the investor superhero thing, you know. "Holy P/E ratio, Stockman!" ;-)
I apolgize for any misdirection I may have caused.
