if you would trade with someone directly then you will show zero total money flow. Direct trading between holders are very rare. Most of the trades are done through dealers who supposed to facilitate the trades in return for keeping some spread of the trade. Hence when you sell a share you do not sell it to another holder but rather sell it the dealer who will either keep it for his acount(rare) or will try to unload it right away for a higher price. Your side of the trade is registered on money flow while dealers side is not.
I hope that helped
