Forgive me I'm not overly familiar with Uniphase and am fishing a bit. Can anyone tell me how UNPH stacks up with JDS Fitel (traded on the Toronto stock exchange) which recently delivered stellar earnings also. How closely do they compete? Thoughts on relative merits?

For anyone not familiar with JDS there is a thread. Earnings were released about 3 weeks ago. Roughly 75% growth rate.
