Actually Cringe, Intel has always planned to release their .18um process
2 years after the .25um release. Remember, Intel released the .25um process
in September '97 ... thus ... September '99 is a good expectation for
Intel's .18um release. This will make you "cringe" ... In process development,
Intel "plans their work" and then "works their plan". <ggg> The .18um process
is a good example of this.
