Last I looked at the STB balance sheet, @ $15 a share 3Dfx they will be paying much more than book value for STB.

On another note, I called Gateway tonight. The saleswoman (who sounded very confused) said that nVidia was the main card they sell for the G6-450 and that if they're out of stock they use the "generic 16 meg AGP card". She didn't know what the "generic" card was. Banshee was not a choice she had listed, but is is the only 16 meg AGP card that I'm aware of.
