Going from the 68-pin external to 50-pin will cost $$$, though. I've seen (50pin) ribbon cables which terminate in a case connector so you can drop two or 3 internal connections off then run it out of the case, but I don't know that I'd trust it electrically.

Yup. It comes in the retail AHA 2940U2W along with 3? other cables. One is very expensive looking. The expensive looking cable is not a ribbon cable and it has a terminator on the end of it.

Some of the onboard SCSI boards come with the cables. This would be a major consideration if one is price comparing.

I have the in-out cable hooked to two internal harddrives and then to the case connector. Then two external SCSI devices. The cable is very bulky. I have not noticed a problem. (I did try the Ricoh CDRW drive as a stand alone drive and still had SCSI errors when burning CDs)

All four connectors on the U2W add on card can be used.

I agree the bt932 is a better deal (unless you have U2W devices). The price is less than half and all four connectors can be used.

Jon should list the card on his site..even if he indicates it is special order..I would have picked it up in lieu of the single channel if I knew.

I like Jon's online ordering. He emails and then requires one email back for confirmation. The buy.com system is going to cost me a bunch.
