Now see? There's the problem with FA. You have the "facts". You have the current price. You have the earnings. You have the "forward looking statements". NOW you have to interpret whether or not the current price has already taken everything into account or not. Let's say there's some sort of debenture crap running around. Or maybe even...dare I say...Reg "S" shares out there. Considering the speed at which information (and stock prices) move these days, are you in full command of all that garbage? AND even if you know every fundamental detail involved do you, as an individual trying to make a decision, actually have enough foresight to determine that all that stuff is not already priced into the stock as a result of the psychological predispositions of an undetermined amount of shareholders who may (or may not) have a grip on the same handle you do??
Once you can slap a chart of the "interlocking" SMI periods that I'll give you in Orlando onto the same pane, you'll know what's what in one glance after a bit of practice and study.
