I believe that is a paraphrase of something Ken Olson, the founder of Digital Equipment Corporation once said. "Why would anyone need a personal computer on their desk?" There are some who say that it was that attitude, causing Digital's tardiness into the PC market, which ultimately led to their (Digital's) downfall. Bill Gates almost made the same kind of mistake regarding the internet but recognized the error of his ways. Of course, that recognition ultimately landed him in Federal court on anti-trust violations...
