Steve - re : LINKABIT was bought out in the mid 80's by a bigger company that saw its potential.

I am pretty sure that the buyer was M/A-Com, Inc. (I was told that the "M/A" part meant microwave associates).

Also, I thought you guys were all just making an ironic joke when you talked about Qualcomm's IPR reverting to the public if QCOM were ever taken over in a hostile manner.

I guess you are not kidding.
