The Mercury Finance Syncronys Connection On Friday, Mercury Finance fell over 80% when the CFO disappeared and the company defaulted on loan payments. The stock now trades for $2 and will likely have to declare bankruptcy. My concern here is what, if any, connection exists or existed between these companies. As far as I am concerned, these swirling rumors are just irresponsible innuendo; but until such times as they are cleared up, the stock will contine to drift lower. IMO, Syncronys isn't moving quickly enough or decisively enough to quell rumors and alay fears.
