OK, Drifter. Going back and reviewing what I wrote, I concede you are correct. I should not have used the term "fact." Unfortunately, I used it as a progression of language, a transitional marker, if you will, rather than a fact of reality. For this I apologize. It was more a case of my typing and writing too fast, without fully reviewing what I had written. I'm sure had I given what I wrote more than a cursory glance, I would have edited that transitional marker into an assumption. Because it was a transitional marker, I didn't catch it. Sorry.
So let's do it this way then: Do you think it likely that Mr. Chmiel had access to the history of the company and would have noted James Green, also from Disney, was once employed by the company? OK, presuming Mr. Chmiel knew this, and since they both worked at Disney as senor executives during the same time period and likely knew each other, do you think they would have had a conversation of some kind before Mr. Chmiel decided to come on board? And furthermore, had two deaths of a relative and a close friend not happened just when Mr. Green took his position with Zulu, is it possible that Mr. Green might have remained with the company?
At least give me the odds of this happening and tell me how it fits into your logic. I mean, my gosh, they're now finding such links credible enough to impeach a U.S. president on similar-type assumptions, are they not? So I guess that's enough to at least raise the possibility.
I'll grant you, I don't know as fact that Mr. Chmiel and Mr. Green had a conversation before Mr. Chmiel came on board. But, in my view, the odds of likelihood that his happened are very substantial. |
