08:43 ET Compaq Computer Corp. (CPQ) 49 1/4: Computer maker and service provider posts a Q4 net of $0.43 a share, six cents better than the First Call mean estimate, vs year-ago profit of $0.42 a share; revenues rose 48% to $10.86 bln.

08:40 ET Broadcom Corp (BRCM) 129 1/2: Supplier of silicon solutions to the cable-modem industry reports Q4 net of $0.26 a share, eight cents above the First Call mean, vs yr-ago earnings of $0.06; company
also sets a 2-for-1 stock split; quarterly revenue rose to $70.1 mln, up 306% yr/yr and 34% sequentially.
BRCM shares bid up 13 pts.

08:38 ET eBay Inc. (EBAY) 220 7/8: Online auction house reported Q4 net of $0.07 a share, before
charges three cents ahead of the First Call estimate, vs year-ago profit of $0.01 a share; company also
declares a 3-for-1 stock split; quarterly revenue rose 642% to $19.5 mln. Stock indicated 54 pts higher in
pre-market.

08:36 ET Yahoo! Inc. (YHOO) 351 1/4: Search engine and Internet portal company launches three new
regional sites in Asia; Yahoo! Singapore (www.yahoo.com.sg), Yahoo! Taiwan (www.yahoo.com.tw), and
Yahoo! Hong Kong (www.yahoo.com.hk and www.english.yahoo.com.hk). YHOO shares indicated 21 pts
higher.

08:33 ET Market Indication: Broader market indicated sharply higher. Current level of S&P futures
suggests Dow rally of approx. 60 points at the open.... Internet stocks expected to fly. EBAY bid up more
than 50 pts in pre-market, after better than expected earnings and 3-for-1 stock split. Amazon.com indicated
20 pts higher, although analysts predicting wider losses for company.
