Dave: Yes AMD has more than two design teams. One working on the K6, one on the K7 and one just has just finished the K5. Most of the K5 engineers have moved on to the K7. The K7 engineers are AMD's original engineers and the K6 is NexGens team. This was all discussed on this thread about 5 months ago so if you want to go back you may find some posts on this subject. I posting this out of my memory so if any one has any correction please go ahead and add them.
