Jack, G* already has not made the schedule BS laid out. Will they make the latest revision to the launch schedule? Probably not, but that is not the point. As I* has found out, making a date does not signify success. As you pointed out re: launch schedules, the same is true for system start, there are many things that go into making a satellite system available. The only true benchmark (IMO) is when does the thing start making money. All other comparisons are fun but not of much value, too much apples and oranges.

I* did a great job in getting were they are today. One may say they are closer to the brass ring than G*, but close does not count here. The journey to profitability is a long road in the satellite business, I will keep my eyes open for 3 years to see how things develop. For as long as these things have been in the works, +/- a year or two is still pretty good. The best thing is the demand is not currently being met and it appears that no one else is going to be able to sneak up and grab the ring. There is demand waiting for I* and G*, I wish they would both pick up the pace.
