I think the combined company will result in 2 intermediate companies becoming 1 good company. LG brings capacity, Hyundai brings DRAM design capability. LG designs were loaned by Hitachi which we have witnessed is not so good as Hitachi exited by divesting to TI who divested to Micron. A weak DRAM competitor is eliminated. LG brings more consumer electronics market to the semiconductor side. TI2
