$9 per share for nine months. I think they have at least $3 more to go for the year. Their margins have increased every year since the new skier adjustable bindings were introduced 3 years ago. Go to a ski shop and ask how they work with the new shaped skies. Look at www,markeri.com. This is just the beginning of a long up trend in skiing driven by the new shaped skies that make skiing easy and the mass of baby boomers with free time. Marker's expense for tooling is done, The DeutchMark is falling, the bindings are made in Germany!! The stock is down due to the uncertainty surrounding the severing of a marketing agreement between Marker's 80% owned DNR Snowboards and Sims Snowboards. It didn't seem to hurt last qtr. President owns over 50% of stock Long term debt less then 20% of sales. PE less then 10 !! This is going to be the top ski binding co. in the world. They have a brand new snowboard manufacturing facility in Salt Lake. They are in every skishop in the world practicly. They can make an aquisition in the winter sports area, that would add sales without much added expense. Stock should be at $10 The ipo was at $12. I bought big time Friday. I bought earlier in Jan. also. I will do research on the mountains of New England and report here. JRR Soon as the stock hit $6 I am selling 5% of my position to buy a Santa Cruz board with DNR step in boots and bindings , all made by Marker, for futher reserch. If please with purchase I will margin my position and by more.
