Sig, but margin can also be used on Leaps at some brokers. My understanding is that is illegal, though, following SEC margin rules. Can you please confirm? TIA! -Apratim. PS: In any case, using margin on an asset which regularly swings 10-20% in a normal day and upto 50% is a slightly abnormal day (leaving Octobers to the imagination of the reader) is, IMHO and with all due respect, categorically insane.
