Feminists Call on Congress to Require New Homes to Have 'Toilet Water Warmers' CHICAGO - The Nation Organization of Wet Women (NOWW) today called on Congress to end the tyranny of male chauvinists by requiring all new homes to have 'toilet water warmers'. Said Jeana Darling, spokeswoman for NOWW, "As any woman who lives with or keeps a man as a pet will tell you, they are insensitive and untrainable. There is nothing worse than falling into a toilet bowl in the middle of the night that is filed with freezing cold water. Since there is no proven method of teaching men how to put the lid down, we are calling on Congress to end the oppression of the 'mid-night dunk' by requiring new homes to have toilet water warmers." The toilet water warmer is a recent innovation developed by American Standard. Using a small heating device which is powered by natural gas, it warms the water in the toilet bowl to 98 degrees Fahrenheit. The warm water allegedly takes the shock and sting out of falling into the toilet bowl. Feminists across the country see the development of the toilet water warmer as one more victory in their on-going battle against the 'inferior half of our species'.
