Looks like we're pretty much on the same wavelength and I'm sure we have some company. Just not enough company yet. (Emphasis on YET.)

From where I sit, I see a very positive earnings report. How can you argue with revenue growth of 198% year over year and a very impressive quarter to quarter growth of 24 %. This technology is being validated right before our eyes with numbers like that. Unfortunately, the revenue number apparently was about 2 % below Piper's estimates and perhaps they were looking for an upside surprise. Thus, the stock sold off this morning. I took the sell-off as a buying opportunity and salted away a few more at a bargain price of 10 9/16. Level 2 now shows Piper coming back on the bid fairly regularly so I have to presume they like it at the new bargain prices also.

From the earnings report: "Last but not least, progress was made in the FDA-approved pilot studies using VNS to treat two other disorders covered by our method patents."

In addition to epilepsy, the method patent covers Parkinson's Disease, tremor, depression, dementia, and migraine headaches according to the annual report. Potentially HUGE markets. Not in the current price IMO. Nor is the potential takeover value discussed on this board. (St. Jude Medical holds over 2 million shares or 13.3 % and Rho Management Partners have built a stake of over 1 million shares as of 12-15-98).
