Buyout rumor: Pete said that he's seeking other portal deals and is confident he'll get 'em. So being bought out by a single portal would make no sense. CKFR is going to be doing business with Yahoo, Excite, Alta Vista, ... ALL of 'em. A buyout made no sense when the rumor was floated and even less sense now that Pete has outlined his long-term strategy.
