Mr. "shut my mouth" Engel, RE:"That "rumor" was going hot and heavy on the Cyrix thread in Nov/Dec 1996 before the actual Compaq release in Feb. 1997."... Not only that but there was a guy on the Compaq thread with an office across the street from the FIC plant that was making the media GX boxes for Compaq. He would report when they were loading up the trucks, how many shifts they were running, etc. Scumbria wasn't even on the BB at that time, that's why he was caught off guard by the release. Whatever you do, please do not refer to Scumbria as Slick Jr. <GG> Jim
