What I like about this stock is its potential. For the "cons", this company is not reporting yet and is yet to produce any significant revenue. (I don't remember the numbers, but I think the only revenue that came from "Planet City Graphics" is insignificant.)

Both CEO and president of the company have been in China for a while. Terry Wong is due back tomorrow or Friday. (I hope) We may hear some "development" soon.

I may be wrong but I trust my sense. Through my conversation with Terry Wong in many occasions, I believe he is reliable in the sense that he is not running a scam. He is really trying to get the things done. How reliable they are in terms of getting the job done? We just have see if they can get some Y2k or GPS contracts and get the ISP operation off the ground. I expect to see some result soon.

Foreign companies selling telecom equipment have been getting lucrative business in China. But foreign companies are not allowed to operate telecom business in China. Some companies have tried to do "call back" , fax/voice over IP, etc. All those are banned. GTCI's approach of setting up joint venture with China Telecom's subsidiary is a smart one. This allows they to set their foot in the door. Because of Chinese government's control over Internet business, I particular like the fact that GTCI got the license to do ISP business in six major Chinese cities. It's not easy for a foreign company to get that.
