Ten,

K7 has been reported to have some large features on it which make no sense. Like 4 fully floating point units. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that the cache bandwidth isn't high enough to keep 4 FPU's full. Cut out two FPU's and reduce the die size by 20%.

This kind of garbage makes the architect very popular at Microprocessor Forum, but hurts the company and the company's investors.
