I'm no Raging Bull on NAVR, but...
here are a few things to consider.
1. many insiders did actually sell on their stock options which may have been the main way they were copensated, which is common with these low cash flow growth companies, so maybe I should not hold them suspect. 2. if you watch DBCC long before it's MKWT IPO, there was a dip below $10 right before it ran thru the teens into the twenties and beyond. we simply may be seeing the very last few down dips on NAVR before the sky's the limit. 3. Options Contracts being made available on NAVR may have much more to do with simply dollar volume and volitility that this stock has enjoyed lately. There are a lot of lousey stocks that get Options, but as long as someones interested in the Contract, Chicago will make one. What makes this issue interesting is the timing... just after the 60day IPO filing window. 4. Broadcast.com continues to run, as do innovative startup's like uBid, and Wall Street's in love with these fast growing stories like Amazon, etc. 5. AOL had fabulous numbers, as expected, and a blowout Xmas. 6. GreenSpan will speak more tomorrow, which may have cause some of todays profit taking. His main issue is Not the over prices equity markets, rather it's Wall St.'s assumption that he'll use Interest Rates to "bail out" the markets if the bubble bursts. Wall Street is becoming less and less concerned with his prattle because even if he wanted to Raise Interest rates, or tighten the lending markets, in order to take away our "Punch Bowl", Greenspan simply can't get away with it, while the rest of the World keeps reducing rates, and is awash in equity looking for somewhere safe to grow. Hope these issues help some sleep better tonight after that miserable close. |
